Snow! Snow!! Snow!!!

It snowed!! Yippee! This is such a rare sight that we go completely bonkers when it snows!! Those of you who are used to the snow are probably laughing at me right now but I don't care. I love snow and I love to play in it. I don't like to drive in it however, even in the Land Yacht. That is the downside to snow. But after church it was clear enough for us to head out and go sledding!!

Now most of you are probably thinking we found this incredibly huge hill to climb up and slide back down, right? After all we live right next to the mountains and our little island is famous for cyclists who are training because of hills. We may live by lots of hills but that doesn't mean we have access to any huge ones. But the kids didn't care, we went out to Nana and Poppa's and sled down their berm. That was the perfect height for the kids.

Chloe couldn't contain her excitement all day. She loves playing in the snow! She was disappointed when she realized the snow was too powdery and dry for us to make a snowman. She did manage quite a few snowballs though. Aidan thought the snow was pretty and cold but really had no desire to go outside and actually play in it. It took some convincing to get him into his snow gear and out the door. Of course, once he was outside he didn't want to come back inside. Brenna could care less about the snow. All she knew was that she was teething, cranky and missing her nap because she was being dragged around in this cold, white stuff. She did laugh when her and I went down the hill together on the sled though.
