Gorgeous Winter Day

We've had some beautiful weather recently. Cold but lots of wonderful sunshine. Today was slightly overcast but we took advantage of the dry spell and took the kids to the park. We picked up our friend's daughter, Claire and took her along as well. We went down to our largest city park down by the beach. There is a nice play area designed for toddlers and preschoolers. So it is the perfect park to take Aidan to.

All the kids had a blast despite the cold temperature. Matt pushed Chloe and Claire high on the swings causing them to squeal in delight. The girls played on the teeter-totter and the monkey bars, even though the bars were freezing. Aidan was running everywhere just excited to actually be outside. He became quite good at the slide and can climb up and go down on his own. A huge plus for our little man who has decided to be completely independent from Mom, Dad and Chloe.

After about forty-five minutes of letting the kids burn off their cabin fever we decided it was time to go. So we packed them all up in the Suburban (it is so nice having a big car), red noses and all and headed home. It was a nice way to wrap up the weekend.

Bowling Pictures

On February 1st we went to a Family Bowling Party with Chloe's school. We basically took over the entire bowling alley. It was cosmic bowling which was a lot of fun. It was Aidan's first time bowling so it was quite a new experience for him. He tried to chase the ball down the lane the first time. After a while he caught on. Chloe has gotten over her trauma of dropping a bowling ball on her toe and had a blast. We all enjoyed the pizza, fun and family time.

Cold & Flu Season

It has been a very long week for the Webster family. Last weekend Aidan got very sick and began throwing up Saturday night and continued Sunday morning. He was sluggish during the beginning of the week but seemed to be on the mend. We thought it was maybe something he ate (since he will put anything into his mouth) but we were wrong. Tuesday night I got sick and Matt was sick Wednesday morning. After three days of laying on the couch we began to slowly feel better. Aidan however came down with a runny nose and hideous cough Thursday. He has been steadily getting worse over the weekend. Chloe has now developed a cough. She is still active and running around so we hope it is just a simple cold nothing more. Please pray that Aidan gets better though! The poor little guy is beyond miserable.

We Have a Name

Thank you all for you many suggestions for names: Camien, Paige, Addison, Mylee, Riley, and so many more. We finally managed to agree on a name (can you believe it?). We have decided our new little girl's name will be BRENNA NICOLE GRACE. Brenna means "princess" which is fitting considering that Chloe knows she is royalty so I know she will make sure her little sister is well aware of that fact as well.

We have been buying little things over the past few months to get ready for the baby newborn diapers and white onsies. Today I went and got a little fuzzy pink sleeper that I found on clearance. It was the first outfit I have bought for Brenna. I still can't get over how tiny it is. Aidan was so big when he was born that I guess I forgot how tiny a newborn can be.

IT'S A GIRL!!!

Hello!

All of your prayers and support during this rocky pregnancy have meant so much to us! Thank you. We seem to be over the bulk of the morning sickness and have moved on to major heartburn. I have come to the conclusion that I won’t feel like myself until I am holding this little one in my arms.

Today we had our ultrasound finally! Due to scheduling conflicts, etc. it was later than normal but we were able to see the baby quite clearly. So now we know that we are having a little .....GIRL!! The due date has changed one day (not that it really matters) so now the due date is May 15th. As you all can imagine Chloe is beside herself with excitement. The thought of having a boy was absolutely devastating to her. Aidan can care less although he is starting to wonder why Mommy’s tummy is getting bigger.

No, we cannot agree on a name yet. We are still in discussion over that one. We are busy making plans and lists of all we need to get but enjoying every minute of it. The biggest purchase is out of the way—the new Suburban. So now that we know we can go shopping for pink, pink and more pink :).
