Teepee Time

Matt got an incredible deal on this fun teepee tent. The kids were ecstatic and couldn't wait for him to put it together. He first put it up outside but it now resides in Aidan's room (as you can imagine he is thrilled). So here are some fun pictures Matt took of the kids hanging out in their new teepee.

Oak Trees

We have been back from vacation for a few days but I still have a few more pictures to share with you. We went to a little local park one of the days we were in Angels Camp. The play area itself was not too exciting but all the giant oak trees in the park were awesome. Chloe climbed up the trees (which surprised me because she is usually too scared to do stuff like that). Aidan of course had no fear and was already to climb up the tree to get his picture taken. Here are some great pictures I took of the kids.

Rock Box

Our kids love to dig in the dirt. They can spend hours digging holes in the backyard. Which would be fine, but we are trying to re-landscape some of the backyard. They are undoing everything we are doing. So in an effort to give our kids a place to dig and save ourselves from redoing our work; Matt built a rock box. Technically it is a sandbox, but who wants to deal with sand, not to mention all the neighborhood cats who would visit it, so we filled it with pea gravel. The kids LOVE it!

Our little digger...

Even Brenna gets into the act...

Don't get between a little man and his rocks...

Matt did such a great job building this rock box. We are going to build a canopy to go over the top to keep the leaves and pine needles out of it.

Here is my man working hard to conquer the ivy that is trying to take over our backyard...

Sun, Swings & Smiles!

The laughter of a child is the sweetest sound in the world. Multiply it by three and my heart is filled abundantly!

The Ceremony

I would like to say that my children were extremely well behaved during the wedding ceremony. But who am I kidding? They are 7, 2.5 and 1 years old. They were very entertaining to say the least. Here are some highlights...

1. Aidan insisting that he carry Aunt Kimmie's bouquet down the aisle because he didn't like his pillow (Aunt Kim convinced him to switch right before they walked down the aisle).
2. Aidan kept insisting that he walk with Chloe but he was suppose to walk with Aunt Kimmie, who kept telling him that she didn't want to walk alone. So he walked down the aisle with her. Than he saw Chloe walking alone and decided she shouldn't walk alone either. So he ran off the stage, through the church and walked back up the aisle with his sister. Very sweet.
3. Brenna and Aidan decided to test all of the battery operated candles during the ceremony and do a bit of redecorating.
4. Mom pulled her vows out of her cleavage--shocking dad.
5. Brenna, after wandering on the stage for a while, decided to find Mom. Not always easy when you are 30 inches tall and Mom and two others are wearing the same dresses. First she went to Aunt Kimmie, looked up--"No, that's not Mom." She looked to her right and saw another blue dress, so she walked to the next dress. She looked up at Aunt Kim--"Nope, not Mom either". Looks to her left one more time, grabs Mom's dress and looks up--"Jackpot"!

Here are some pictures...

Here are some cute family shots taken afterwards:

Hip Hop Bouncin' House

Saturday we went to our local indoor playground for a birthday party. The birthday girl was a friend of Chloe's from dance class, but Aidan and Brenna were able to tagalong. This is the first time we've been to this place and the kids were in their element--A giant inflatable obstacle course, a fifteen foot inflatable slide, a mini bounce house, a inflatable basketball court, a baby room, soft foam shapes to crawl over and so much more. All three kids were everywhere...

Not very many pictures of Chloe because she was everywhere. Aidan would run off and play with the big kids and than come find me, stick close to Mom for a little bit than head off to play. Brenna had a blast wandering around and playing in the under 3 room. That girl is fearless, she will climb anything. All three had a blast and I am sure we will be heading there again!
